My grandpa, Bill K Beaver

Bill K. Beaver, my amazing grandfather, passed away on Oct. 17, 2013. He was 87 years old and a hardworking farmer who worked up until the day that he died. My childhood memories are replete with summer trips to the farm with my sister and cousin Danny, and being here in North Salem, Indiana for his service has brought so many of those memories back to my mind. 

Below are images from the Beaver family farm.. mostly things that remind me of him… his love for Frank Sinatra and his endless stack of playboys. The many nights we spent playing cards with my Uncle Jeff. His love for cigars and Wrigley’s gum.  

Everyone who knew my grandpa knew he was a pure character — always speaking his mind, always making you laugh, and so full of life and laughter. I would give anything to see him one more time, to hear his infectious laugh and give him a big hug.
